Isola GmbH, a partner in the HELP project, (Zuverlässige und kostengünstige Hochtemperatur-Elektronik für die Elektromobilität auf Basis von LeiterPlatten aus hochtemperaturbeständigen Harzsystemen) received third place in the Innovative Products and Applications category at this year’s AVK Innovation Awards. HELP is a three-year collaborative research project targeted at reliable and cost-effective, high-temperature electronics for electromobility.
Isola was recognized by the he AVK – Federation of Reinforced Plastics e.V. for its submission titled, “High-temperature PCBs with Benzoxazine Matrix System.” The company’s innovative new material (preliminary product name: HELP H) provides a cost-effective alternative to the ceramic circuit boards. It was engineered to reduce the complexity and costs of future power electronics.
The AVK represents the interests of the manufacturers and the processors of reinforced and filled plastics, machine builders as well as their raw material suppliers and service providers on a national and European level. Their mission is to strengthen the image of reinforced plastics in the market and provide a forum to innovate, network and educate.
