Isola Announces New Energy Self-Generation Plant in Düren, Germany

CHANDLER, ARIZONA, September 4, 2006 – Isola Group S.a.r.l., a designer, developer and manufacturer of high performance base materials for the printed circuit board industry, announced today that they were close to completion of a new energy self-generation station at their Düren , Germany facility. The self-generation station is a multimillion dollar collaboration with the independent energy service company GETEC AG. The new self-generation station will be officially opened in a ceremony with local officials on September 19, 2006. The self-generation station will use German produced high-grade pulverized lignite, reducing reliance on outside energy sources. When fully operational in October 2006, it will reduce gas consumption at the Dueren facility by approximately 40 percent.
