Isola GmbH Enhances Its QTA Service in Europe

Isola GmbH Enhances Its Quick Turnaround Service to Support European PCB Fabricators’ Rapid Delivery Requirements

Orders can be ready to ship within 24 hours

DUREN, Germany., May 23, 2013 — Isola GmbH, a market leader in copper-clad laminates and dielectric prepreg materials used to fabricate advanced multilayer printed circuit boards, announced today that it has enhanced its Quick Turnaround (QTA) Service in Europe to support its customers’ Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory strategies and QTA programs.

Expediting production to reduce the time-to-market presents a big challenge for PCB fabricators, considering the variety of base materials and configuration options involved in the production of complex, multi-layer printed circuit boards. Many PCB fabricators rely on JIT inventory strategies to improve the management of their inventories and to meet the increasingly demanding needs of their customers for quick turnarounds of finished PCBs, often in support of new product introductions. Isola supports its customers with QTA offerings tailored to meet their specific needs.

Isola has successfully reduced the average lead-time for standard orders 4 to 6 business days. While this standard lead-time is impressive, Isola now offers further premium tiers to its QTA service. Depending on the customer’s urgency, Isola’s high-quality laminates and prepregs can be ready to ship in 48-, 36-, 24- or less than 24-hours. Isola guarantees the order will ship as scheduled.

All products offered in Isola’s European QTA program are manufactured in the company’s Duren, Germany facility. Customers can order the precise amount of product needed, enabling them to reduce their inventory levels and the risk that prepreg expires on the shelf.

The company also offers a similar QTA program in the United States. High-speed digital products, such as I-Speed® and I-Tera® are also available in its program.

“Isola’s QTA service helps our European customers to quote new programs or quick turns using Isola products with confidence knowing that their order will be ready to ship within 24 hours,” stated Karl Stollenwerk, President of Isola GmbH. “We understand that quick deliveries give our customers a definite competitive advantage.”
