Isola President of North America Receives Expanded Responsibilities

CHANDLER, ARIZONA, July 15, 2009 Isola Group S.a.r.l., a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of high-performance base materials for the printed circuit board industry, today announced that Matt LaRont, current President of North America Operations for Isola, would take on the additional responsibility of Global Supply Chain Officer. In his expanded capacity LaRont will oversee the strategic supply plan for Isola Group, including execution of the plan, work closely with R&D to ensure NPI ramp is not supply constrained, manage global supply contracts and supplier licensing, and have oversight of NWC goal attainment.

Mr. LaRont fills a position vacated by Eric Seip who accepted the position of Vice President Supply Chain for a NYSE-listed corporation located in Chicago. According to Ray Sharpe, Chief Executive Officer at Isola, “Matt’s appointment underlines the importance of the supply chain function to our business. We have a talented supply chain team in place and I am confident that, with Matt’s leadership, we will continue to provide our customers with the best possible products in a timely and cost-effective manner.”

With over 23 years of industry-related understanding, Matt offers a broad range of expertise to Isola having held the title of President of North America since February 2007. Since joining Isola in 2004, LaRont has held positions in Global Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Matt has traveled abroad extensively for the past 15 years throughout Asia Pacific. Matt was stationed in Asia from 2002 to 2007, living in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Isola, Matt held various positions with Solectron Corporation as Director of Global Materials, General Manager (IPO) Taiwan, Sanmina (Hadco) as Director of Sales, PCB Operations, and Praegitzer Industries as Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast and Financial Controller.
