Proprietary Patented Square Weave Products Announced

CHANDLER, ARIZONA, September 12, 2008 – Isola Group S.a.r.l., a leading designer, developer and manufacturer of high performance base materials for the printed circuit board industry, today announced that they now offer proprietary square weave laminate products that can help address the electronics Industry needs for better dimensional stability. The laminate products incorporate square weave glass core materials–including such glass types such as 101,1037,1047,1067,1086, 1280, 3070, 3313,1652, 6060–to provide unsurpassed laminate registration control and/or balanced X/Y CTE’s (in plane coefficients of thermal expansion).

Isola Group’s proprietary square weave laminate products are covered by one or more claims of U.S. Patent Nos. 5,464,658 and 5,350,621. These patents are directed generally to laminates and printed circuit boards that can incorporate square weave fabric materials.

The square weave laminate products are proprietary to the Isola Group and because the Isola Group has not licensed others under their square weave patents, only Isola Group can make and sell laminates with square weave glass that are covered by the patent claims.

Please contact Isola sales representatives if you would like to learn more about Isola Group’s square weave laminate products.
